Teresa was advised to contest rent payments until repairs were made to her apartment. Luckily, new management took over the complex and fixed her maintenance and pest issues. Unfortunately, this left Teresa with a large sum of late rent payments. Thanks to DESC, Teresa and her son will not be evicted and they have a place to live for the another month. This gives her back the peace she had lost and will help them get back on their feet as she looks for a job. Teresa wants to offer up the greatest appreciation to DESC’s supporters because without this program, Teresa said she and her young son would probably be homeless. She thanks God for DESC and its supporters!
