Event Overview

This year, the theme “Generations” held a powerful meaning—representing the generations of DESC supporters, the ongoing cycle of generational poverty and the enduring work of DESC to combat homelessness and poverty in our community through a new facility.

We were honored to welcome back Mary and Hank Coxe as our 2025 Honorary Chairs.

DESC Defenders: Generations is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of the community that’s come together over the years to help break the cycle of poverty. It’s a reflection of the many generations of donors, volunteers and advocates who have stood by DESC’s side. And it’s a reminder of the generations of individuals affected by poverty, homelessness and hardship, and how DESC works tirelessly to offer hope and opportunity.

All funds raised go directly toward sustaining DESC’s vital programs and services, ensuring we can continue our mission for generations to come.
