A $40 donation can change a life. How is that possible? Each donation will purchase a pair of work boots that enables a DESC client to get a job.
In 2017, I was about to turn 70. My greatest wish was to make my birthday count for something good. Raising funds to buy 365 pairs of work boots that year has turned into the best celebration ever! Now, years later, we are still raising funds to keep boots on the ground at a rate of more than one pair a day. Will you join me to help keep these hard workers on their feet?
PS: The need is about 50 pairs a month, so let’s try to keep them coming so we never have to turn away a person who just wants to work.
