Willie has spent the last 21 years incarcerated. His goal now is to work and build the life he’s always wanted. Willie told us that these boots mean everything to him, allowing him to support himself and start over. The last pair of shoes Willie received was a pair of rubber slide-on shoes from the correctional institute when he was released. Willie works in landscaping and walks four miles each day to work. With a degenerating disc in his back, the boots will allow him to work safely and comfortably. He was very thankful for the new boots because, like most labor jobs, the boots are required for safety reasons
